Si tratta di un dolce di antica memoria e, oggi , quasi completamente dimenticato ma che vi vogliamo riproporre. Era il tipico dolce contadino che veniva preparato dalle donne di casa, si dice, in occasione della pesca di beneficienza organizzata per il santo patrono del paese.
INGREDIENTI
Farina bianca mezzo chilo
Zucchero 300 grammi
Due bicchieri di latte
Burro 100 grammi
Una scorza di limone grattugiato
Tre uova
Una bustina di lievito in polvere
Un po’ di sale
LA PREPARAZIONE
Sbattere le uova con lo zucchero aggiungendo poi la farina setacciata per evitare la formazione di grumi. Sciogliere il composto con il latte e poi aggiungee il burro fuso e la scorza di limone. Mescolate bene aggiungendo il sale e, poi, il lievito.
Versate il composto in una tegli precedentemente imburrata. Va cotta in forno a fuoco basso per circa un’ora. Alla fine cospargete di zucchero a velo prima di presentarla.

A grated lemon rind

PREPARATION
